Everything you wanted to know about Israel and more

  This tahina ( not available in the US) is my Fabulous find of the week. After trying dozens of different brands of tehina, this one passed the taste test with flying colors. Use it in Asian recipes such as sesame noodles, Nobu’s famous cod recipe,etc . You can also use it in home made salad dressings. Sesame seeds are full of anti-oxidants and have many health benefits. Let me of course not leave out that it makes the best homemade hummus ever! If you order the tahini from me, I will include simple full proof recipes. I will be featuring once a week a ” fabulous find”. This week’s fabulous find is “Israeli” Starkist tuna with high quality olive oil. This is one of the best canned tunas I have ever tasted. The meat is dark, fatty and flavorful and the olive oil it is canned in is wonderful. What makes this tuna so much better then the average American canned tuna is the fact that it is yellowfin and not the common skipjack that makes up most of American canned tuna.
